Motherboard repair or replacement (RMA)

If the problem persists after all attempts of component replacement, then the motherboard may require repair or replacement. The motherboard can be repaired or replaced if it is within the warranty period of your reseller and/or with BCM Advanced Research. Check your reseller for its warranty and exchange policies. Please note that BCM Advanced Research can not be held responsible for a warranty period set by the reseller when it EXCEEDS the warranty guild lines set by BCM Advanced Research (one year from the date of manufacture). If your reseller is out of business or no longer support the motherboard, BCM Advanced Research will accept a direct RMA with the Original Purchase Invoice.  Please also note that if the reseller is still in business, BCM Advanced Research will not accept direct RMA request associated with the active reseller. To determine the day code of your motherboard, look for the label that matches to the following 15 alphanumeric barcode format:

Please determine the age of the board based on the criteria below.

The numeric barcode is defined as follows:
First 5 digits = Part Number,
6th and 7th digits = Year (98 = 1998),
8th and 9th digits = Week (45 = 45th week of that year),
10th = Internal Control Code,
11th - 15th digits = Serial Number.
